What Couchwave is

Couchwave is a media player made by RedLogic. It provides no channels, movies, shows or other content, and it doesn't sell, resell or support any TV service. You're responsible for having the right to watch whatever you connect it to.

Your provider

Your TV service, its channels and its billing come from your own provider, and their terms cover them. Where a provider connects to Couchwave to set up or brand your app, they remain responsible for their service and its support. Couchwave is responsible for the player.

Accounts and subscriptions

• A Couchwave account is a monthly subscription: $5.00 a month for up to 3 TVs, plus $1.75 a month for each TV after that, in US dollars, plus any sales tax where it applies. It renews each month until you cancel.
• Payments are taken by our payment processor. Couchwave never sees or stores your full card number.
• You can cancel any time from your account page. Canceling stops the next charge, and your TVs keep everything until the end of the month you've paid for. Refunds are explained on the Refunds page.
• We'll tell you by email at least 30 days before any price change affects you.

One account per household

• An account is for the TVs in one household. Don't share it with, or resell it to, other households.
• An account can have up to 10 TVs. A TV can be swapped for another up to 3 times in any 30 days; more than that needs a request through the contact form.
• We may suspend an account that's used across households or with a modified copy of the app, after telling the account holder by email.

The app and its license

• We license Couchwave to you for your own use; we don't sell it to you. Each running copy checks with couchwave.tv that it's genuine, and a copy that can't be checked for 3 days stops until it can.
• Don't copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, or try to get around its checks.
• Couchwave updates itself. Some updates are required to keep using it.
• The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it running, but we don't promise it will work with every box, service or stream, or without interruption.

Test versions

Test (beta) versions of Couchwave have an end date. They stop working on that date unless they've updated to a newer version.

Trademarks

Couchwave and the Couchwave logo belong to RedLogic. Other names mentioned on this site, such as Plex, MAG, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV, belong to their owners. Couchwave isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them.
